BANANA SPLIT RECIPE

Makes: 2

Prep Time: 15 minutes

Ingredients:
1 cup white sugar (or vanilla sugar).
*If you prefer to use Vanilla Sugar. Follow these steps, combine Caster Sugar and split Vanilla Beans in a jar, then infuse for 2 weeks.
1 tsp cinnamon
Pinch allspice
2x Bananas
Ice cream (we went classic vanilla and chocolate)
Whipped cream
Melted Chocolate (you could also use chocolate topping or ice magic)
Maraschino Cherries

Method:
Step 1. Combine sugar, cinnamon and allspice in a bowl or rimmed plate (larger enough for the banana to fit).

Step 2. Slice the banana in half lengthways and gently toss in the spiced sugar mix so the bananas are completely coated.

Step 3. Scoop the ice cream into your bowl and place the coated bananas on either side

Step 4. Drizzle melted chocolate or a topping of your choice, add whipped cream and finish with maraschino cherries.
